Overview

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and execute key business and technology initiatives, starting with the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS). This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who excels in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and driving operational improvements. This role involves managing multiple high-priority projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging stakeholders across the organization to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Key responsibilities include developing project schedules, overseeing and coordinating cross-functional discovery, building robust solutions, and managing sub-project teams with other functional areas. When involved with systems projects, this role will oversee systems integration and application testing, facilitate end-user training, and provide comprehensive communication and reporting on project milestones and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are achieved for any project being overseen.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program updates, risks, and issue Facilitate communication between technical teams, end users, and leadership.
  • Ensure program alignment with organizational goals and strategic
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and budgets in collaboration with
  • Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and Provide regular program status updates and progress reports to senior management, including the IT Steering Committee.
  • Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations teams to gather requirements and drive alignment for projects and systems implementations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through system integration and process reengineering.
  • Develop, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with new system functionalities.
  • Support change management initiatives for all large projects to ensure smooth adoption of all updated business SOPs.
  • Oversee end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support for system and process
  • Initially, this role will develop and manage a comprehensive program roadmap for the implementation of WMS and TMS across First Supply’s operational footprint:
    • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and
    • Partner with warehouse teams to refine processes and address system-related
    • Provide training and support for end users to adopt to new systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; other Project Management Institute (PMI) certification considered.
  • Six Sigma certification desired, at least at the Green Belt level or higher, Black Belt
  • 7+ years of proven project management experience, with a focus on system implementation and process reengineering.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira or
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving large-scale projects to
  • Strong process orientation with a focus on optimizing workflows and improving
  • Firsthand experience developing test processes, documentation, and QA
  • Proven track record as a change agent, driving innovation and transformation within an
  • Advanced analytical skills to design system or process-based solutions that address business challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas
